There are seven primary attributes which successful team players need to be aware of in themselves and which need to be continuously developed. Changing the attributes of individual members can only come from within them, stimulated by good examples within the team. Cohesive development is driven primarily by example and not by directive coercion or force.
The example of positive attitude provides immeasurable stimulus to the functioning of the team. Each member is encouraged to reflect upon their own attitude and to identify within the team those members that consistently manifest a positive attitude and, as far as possible, they are encouraged to emulate this attribute. The team as a whole is encouraged to adopt an ethos of positiveness as an essential platform to creativity.
